In a recent interview ahead of the release of their new documentary film, Georgina Rodriguez shed some light on the next moves of Cristiano Ronaldo after he left Saudi Arabia. When asked if she and Ronaldo have plans to live full-time in the Spanish capital after the retirement of the football superstar, the model responded, "We want to keep a house in Madrid active because you never know what's going to happen. We have a lot of children. Junior is growing up and wants to become a professional football player. We really don't know what the future holds."
The 29-year-old also revealed that their estate renovation project just outside Madrid has been completed, and she thinks that Ronaldo's 12-year-old son, Junior, has a good chance of becoming a professional football player. Last summer, there were reports that the 38-year-old footballer had been in contact with Atletico Madrid, as he sought a way to secure a Champions League berth. However, the Argentine beauty disclosed that he never had any intention of signing with the La Liga team before moving to Al-Nassr.
Reports at the time suggested that Atletico Madrid was willing to provide Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata to Manchester United in exchange for the Portuguese captain. Fans in Spain reacted by making statements against the deal and raising anti-Ronaldo banners during a friendly match to try to squash any possibility of it happening.
In the popular Spanish show El Hormiguero, the 9X beauty also revealed that the move to Saudi Arabia has changed their family's routine: "Here, the club trains later due to the climate. In Manchester, we all wake up and have breakfast together before the kids go to school. Now, I wake up at 6:30 in the morning, take the children to school before going home, and Cristiano wakes up later."
Rodriguez was straightforward in admitting that she is not a football lover, adding, "I don't like football. And because of my schedule, I can never watch matches." Ronaldo left Man United in November last year after a controversial interview with Piers Morgan, in which he accused the club of betraying him and admitted that he did not respect coach Erik ten Tag. The move to Al-Nassr after the World Cup with a salary of £173 million per year made him the highest-paid athlete ever.
