According to The Athletic , coach Graham Potter has been mocked behind his back by some former students since "The Blues" fired the 47-year-old captain a few days ago.
Some Chelsea stars have called their former mentors "Harry" and "Hogwarts", ironic names based on the fictional Harry Potter series of wizarding novels. The implication of these names mocked Mr. Potter's inappropriate, ineffective tactical choices. This is said to stem from previous dissatisfaction with the way the British coach led.
Prominent among them is Trevoh Chalobah. The 23-year-old was not satisfied with being left out of Chelsea's 0-2 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend, although he and coach Potter had long discussed tactics before.
Another case of discontent is from Hakim Ziyech. The Morocco international wants to leave Stamford Bridge in January due to lack of playing opportunities. Ziyech is on loan from PSG. However, the transfer collapsed due to a problem with documents. This player went to Paris but had to return to London to accept the substitute scene.
Earlier, fans also discovered that Aubameyang and Denis Zakaria liked a post on social media announcing that Mr Potter had been sacked by the West London club.
