Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Aubameyang Receive Championship Medals

Following their respective triumphs in their previous clubs' domestic leagues, Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have all been awarded championship medals for their contributions during the 2022/23 season.

Enzo Fernandez, who recently joined Chelsea from Benfica in the summer of 2022, received his Portuguese championship medal as Benfica secured the title with a 3-0 victory over Santa Clara. Enzo played an instrumental role for Benfica, featuring in 29 matches across all competitions, including 17 appearances in the domestic league. His impact was significant, leading to a transfer fee of over 120 million euros.

Similarly, Mykhailo Mudryk, the Ukrainian winger who joined Chelsea, is set to receive a championship medal after Shakhtar Donetsk emerged as the champions of the Ukrainian league this season. Mudryk's contributions throughout the campaign played a vital role in Shakhtar's success, earning him the recognition and honor of a championship medal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who began the season with Barcelona before moving to Chelsea, was also acknowledged by his former club during their La Liga title celebrations. Although Aubameyang only featured for eight minutes in Barcelona's opening match against Rayo Vallecano before his transfer, he is deemed eligible to receive a championship medal for his brief stint with the club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's own performance in the Premier League was disappointing, finishing in 12th place, their lowest position since 1994. Despite significant investments in new recruits, the season did not meet expectations for the London club.

In a lighthearted twist, a funny animation depicting the reaction of Zinedine Zidane, who was rumored to be a potential candidate for the Chelsea managerial role, to the news of the list of candidates was shared, providing an amusing perspective on the situation.

As the season comes to a close, Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Aubameyang can cherish their championship medals as they reflect on their individual successes while transitioning to their new roles at Chelsea.
